Child Safeguarding Statement

Jacqueline King is committed to providing a safe, respectful and supportive environment for all students participating in her programmes.

All programmes delivered to children and young people are designed and facilitated in line with best practice in child safeguarding. Jacqueline King is a registered public health nurse and is Garda vetted in her professional role. Garda vetting is completed through the relevant organisation for all work involving children, in accordance with the National Vetting Bureau (Children and Vulnerable Persons) Acts.

Appropriate safeguarding measures are in place during programme delivery, including clear professional boundaries, age-appropriate content and adherence to school safeguarding policies when working on-site or with school groups off-site.

Any child protection concerns arising during programme delivery will be managed in line with Children First: National Guidance for the Protection and Welfare of Children, and reported through the appropriate designated liaison channels.
